La musica
People learn language more easily when it is in song. We can listen to songs over and over. We can sing along. Lyrics are more easily memorised than other kinds of language – the poetic form, and melody both support memory. We use simple children’s songs as part of the program, often sung with gestures, of offered in connection to other activities. But we also have music for listening and dancing. Music is a big part of Italian culture. Listen to some of our favourites.
