Simone has over 35 years of experience in the early childhood education and care sector, currently working as the Head of Quality and Compliance for a large early childhood organisation where she supports early childhood services across Victoria, Queensland, and South Australia.

Her previous roles within the early childhood sector includes local and state government departments, as well as various positions within the not-for-profit sector, encompassing regulatory compliance, operations, out-of-school hours care, and kindergarten management.

Outside of her professional responsibilities, Simone volunteers for non-profit animal rescues, where she fosters abandoned and rescued animals, engages in fundraising efforts, and advocates for animal welfare.

She has been a Merri bek resident  for 20 plus year and is deeply committed to supporting quality education and care services that achieve optimal outcomes for children, families, and the broader community.
