Monique has lived, worked and raised her two children in Merri-bek for over 25 years. She is a qualified Speech Pathologist specialising in Early Childhood and has been a team member at Merri-Health in the Child Health Team for many years. She has also contributed to early years networks committees of management and strategic plans for the local area. In her role as Speech Pathologist, Team Leader and community member, she has actively advocated for quality early years support and education services for all children.

She is passionate about bringing people together and using evidence and data to support and design programs to ensure children grow up in communities that allow them to thrive.
